A new wind will rise in the city. Everything will change color. Leaves will twirl down to reunite with the earth. The city’s streets, sidewalks, and the folk songs that linger on our tongues will catch the coolness of a breeze, and sorrow will never visit our neighborhood. We will enter the streets with love, and smell the flowers with love. We will dream a dream with love in it. Cities will open their doors with love. Life is a cycle. How quickly everything changes. A star slips gently across the sky. A child loses their way. A wind scatters my hair out of season. Should I love this season or not? Even the trees are abandoning their leaves. The leaves are abandoning their colors. Mountains, hills, every corner of the land is losing its color. Amid so much loss, to be a winner, I cling tightly to words. It is unclear how many voices I will leave behind me. How many sorrows will fade away before me? My arrival was strange, my arrival a novice’s shiver. A purple light surrounds me. I don’t know where I remember this color from. All the melodies of the world are in my ears. A new sound rises from every corner. Each sound has its own color in me. A new wind will rise in the city, making us all resemble itself.
