Descriptive information about more than 70 highly valuable manuscript copies of the Mushaf al-Sharif, selected from manuscript libraries in Istanbul and various Anatolian cities under our Presidency and almost all of which are being exhibited for the first time, is included in the catalog of the “Sacred Message” Manuscript Mushaf Exhibition. In addition to the Mushaf al-Sharif copies prepared by Ottoman-era calligraphers and illuminators, each of which is a masterpiece of art, the catalog includes information in Turkish, Arabic, and English about the features of Abbasid-era Mushafs written in Kufic script, as well as previously unexhibited Mushaf al-Sharif copies from the Seljuk, Ilkhanid, Ghaznavid, Safavid, Mamluk, Indian, and Maghreb regions.
