Book Description
O you whose name is murmured as “Friend” in my pen!
Remember the merchant who came when you fell into the wells.
Do not forget him.
And remember Jacob’s eyes.
Listen to his tears.
Do not forget.
Do not seek your loss in the deserts of Kenan,
Seek it in Jacob’s aching heart,
Seek it in his weeping eyes…
Seek, so that you may find what you have lost…
