Colorless, pale cries of despair rained down on their shoulders.
It felt like only yesterday. They had met at this pier countless times, and had drunk tea at the cafe next to it. It felt as if they had only just left.
But now, they were a dream that would never return.
Their scent had permeated the pier, the sweaters, the back rooms of their heart, and even their life. It felt as if the mist of their breath still lingered on the glasses at the cafe.
It was they who had rested their wavy, golden head—which would have made the seas jealous—securely on their chest.
It was they who had made them experience happiness in the land of eternity upon the unfading daisies. And when they were with them, endless joys rained down on their shoulders..
