Our story began from the moment we were born with loving ourselves... We became children, and it continued with loving everything around us... People, non-human beings, flowers, insects (ladybugs most of all), and even inanimate toys...
We grew up a little; we gave up on ourselves first. Then our battle with those around us began...
We were afraid to know ourselves. If we had known ourselves, we would have realized that we would have to take responsibility, and while we claimed the good for ourselves, we would find no one to blame for the bad... We ran, as far as we could run... The greatest battle was with "ME," as were the resentment and the anger... That is precisely why I wanted the bookmark on the cover, the "MIRRORED OWL," to be your roadmap...
When you hold the book in your hands, look at yourself in the mirror first; whether at your physical beauty or your inner beauty... I wanted you to make peace with the image you see. Let the owl also guide you; to what you haven't seen, to what you haven't heard...
