The geraniums have taken on
The color of the evening sun
As if they’re smiling
They gave my heart a splash of color
Inspired my lines
Erased every thought in my mind
Beautiful memories filled
My dreams...
The sea is calm this morning
After the storm
Two figs from the fig tree
In the flavor of “pick me...”
The echo of the afternoon call to prayer
Became a balm to my ears
And
Deep within my soul
It swelled...
