The Deeds of Notus Gladyus - Ferman Karaçam | Turkish Book
Ferman Karaçam’s book "The Deeds of Notus Gladyus" presents a world full of intrigue, chaos, and dark plans. The story begins when the thief Knight Notus Gladyus and Uranha meet again in an inn near Karacahisar, after having met each other earlier in a gambling den. Together with the monk Benito, who lives in a cave, they murder Ertugrul Bey's horse breeder Demircan and his fiancée Liya, and plan the murder so that it appears as if it was committed by the Beylik of Karacahisar.
Karacam describes with a sharp pen how chaos and confusion are created in a planned manner and how those who cause this experience a sadistic pleasure in their deeds. Especially the disturbing thoughts of monk Benito about oppressing, exploiting, and creating chaos make the reader continue reading with a feeling of disgust, but also curiosity. These intrigues and bloody plans are carried out purely to create power and chaos, which exposes the inhuman nature of the characters.
"The Deeds of Notus Gladyus" is much more than an ordinary story; it is a profound description of evil and how chaos is orchestrated. This work of Ferman Karaçam is a chilling, thought-provoking book that prompts the reader to a deeper reflection. Among the "Turkish Books", this work stands out as a highly interesting work for readers who enjoy dark and complex stories.
