Açıklama
Before falling asleep,
Kiss my eyelids,
They are the last to see you.
In my eyes, the ebabil birds
Are plucking the stones from my heart.
You become so beautiful when you love,
The night stretches on, how wonderful you smell...
‘Afternoon Shadows’ consists of flowing poems where every line is meticulously crafted, transforming itself into nature, the sky, dreamlike imagery, and love.
From a leaf on a tree in the Taurus Mountains to the pebbles on the beach, from the streets of Istanbul to train journeys, the poet pours the poetry living within life into their verses as a counterpoint to today’s consumer society; expressing love, longing, and passion in their purest and most emotional form.
We invite all our readers who long for poetry and wish to journey through the unique world of imagery.
